Enacted in 1994, the King Holiday and Service Act, led by the Corporation for National and Community Service, established the King Holiday as a national day of service and encourages Americans to give back to their communities and make an ongoing commitment to service throughout the year.
All Chula Vista Centennial activities are organized by the Committee of 100 volunteers in partnership with community businesses, educational groups, and non-profit organizations and will continue through 2011.
